Company History

Roger Whitaker (pictured with a Lennox AC unit) started the company as Clinch River Heating and Cooling in 1992. The company operated in St. Paul, VA until March of 1991. In the spring of 1991 the company moved to Norton, VA and changed the name to HCE Systems Inc. HCE Systems then operated out of a small rented building on Spring Avenue until October of 1992. At that time, HCE Systems purchased and constructed its current facility at 440 Hawthorne Drive in Norton, VA. We currently have seven employees. Our service department is 100% NATE-certified with the knowledge and experience to take care of any service issues you may have. We are a Virginia Class A contractor as well as a Master Kentucky HVAC Contractor. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We offer 24-hour. emergency service as well as planned service contracts to keep your current heating system operating efficiently.
